Bassmaster Elite Tour is back in Orange

Sheriff Mooney and OCSO deputies will be patrolling the river this weekend during the Bassmaster Elite tournament.

The Bassmaster Elite Tour is back in Orange for the fourth time, and Sheriff Jimmy Lane Mooney is encouraging the public to come out and enjoy the festivities this weekend.

Sheriff Mooney and Orange County Sheriff's Department deputies will be patrolling the river to keep patrons safe and make sure operations run smoothly. The tournament started April 6 and will go on through Sunday, April 11 with carnival rides, concessions and live music. Country music singer Neil McCoy will perform Saturday night. All concerts are free to the public.
