Grant caravan brings educational tools to Beaumont schools

The Beaumont Public Schools Foundation (BPSF) grant caravan stopped at seven Beaumont Independent School District campuses Dec. 1 to bring students and teachers hands-on educational tools that inspire creative learning in the classroom.

Members and friends of the foundation rode out with the BPSF Grant Caravan bus to drop off the numerous learning tools requested, and to present winning educators with glass apple awards in recognition of their dedication to academic excellence.

Beaumont Public Schools Foundation receives donation from H-E-B tournament of champions

Doreen Borel, H-E-B Area Community Coordinator, presented a $5,000 financial donation from the H-E-B Tournament of Champions to President Bill Smith and Vice-President Stephanie Spiller of the Beaumont Public Schools Foundation, Inc.

This donation will make it possible for the BPSF to continue its mission of awarding innovative grants to students and staff in the Beaumont Independent School District. Since 1993, the BPSF has awarded 374 educational grants totaling $261,220.84 for classroom projects that focus on excellence in education for all students in the BISD.
