Beaumont is getting another gym, where members can work out one of the club’s many machines, get a hydromassage or watch TV in the Cardio Theater while improving their heart health. Planet Fitness Inc. announced Feb. 7 that it has begun in-club membership presale for its second Beaumont gym. Located at 3871 Stagg Drive, Unit 166, the new gym will officially open in early March.
The new and 20,000-square-foot club features a variety of cardio machines and strength equipment, 30-Minute Express Circuit, a Cardio Theater filled with Flat Screen TVs, fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, Black Card Spa (for PF Black Card members) including HydroMassage loungers, tanning beds, massage chairs and more.
“We’re excited to bring a second club to the Beaumont area,” said Emily Torpey, Regional Director at United PF Partners, the largest Planet Fitness Franchisee Group. “We invite the community to join us at the club for a tour before our official opening to experience the Judgement Free Zone and take advantage of our $0 down membership presale.”
The Classic membership invites members to join for $10 per month. The PF Black Card membership is $22.99 per month and provides members access to the Black Card Spa, the ability to bring a friend anytime, and entry to over 2,200 clubs. The club is offering $0 down on both memberships until Feb. 16. Planet Fitness recently achieved the WELL Health-Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), and is the first fitness brand to do so. The achievement further showcases “Planet Fitness’ top priority of keeping its members and employees safe with enhanced COVID-19 safety and sanitization protocols at its well-ventilated and spacious clubs," such as:
● Touchless check-in via the free Planet Fitness App
● A Crowd Meter on the Planet Fitness App that allows members to check the club capacity in real-time before leaving the house
● Increased sanitization to continually clean and sanitize high-touch areas, with cleaning stations available for member use
● Mask policies in accordance with local guidelines
Planet Fitness representatives and local officials will formally celebrate the opening of its new club in Beaumont with a Grand Opening Celebration following the club’s March opening. Members will be able to enjoy a raffle, free Planet Fitness swag, and be present for a check presentation to a local organization.
