Boardwalk Grille opens temporary location, to build $850,000 restaurant on Sabine River

Orange City Council made a motion approving the Economic Development Corporation to enter into an agreement with the Boardwalk Grille for the expenditure of funds for infrastructure improvement in an amount not to exceed $200,000 at its Tuesday, Feb. 27, meeting.

The motion will help move forward the construction of a new $850,000 restaurant on Fifth Street along the Riverfront Boardwalk in Orange, according to restaurant co-owner Lacey Lemoine.

Southeastern Freight Lines promotes Henry Ruelas to service center manager

Southeastern Freight Lines, a leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, announced that Henry Ruelas has been promoted to service center manager in Orange.
With over 17 years of experience at Southeastern, Ruelas started his career at the Houston service center as a part-time freight handler. Since then, he has served in a variety of roles, including full-time freight handler, driver trainee, pickup and delivery driver, frontline leadership and most recently, operations manager in Houston.
