Local Texas First Bank opened a new, full-service banking center in Beaumont at 6363 Phelan Blvd., just east of Dowlen Road, the business announced Jan. 19. This is the 27th banking center in the family-owned and operated Texas First Bank network and its first location in Beaumont.

The banking center features a spacious lobby, two drive-through lanes, a night deposit, and a 24-hour drive-up ATM in the recently renovated 5,700 square-foot facility. It is a true testament of Texas First Bank’s commitment to the area.

“We couldn’t be happier with how the renovation has turned out and can’t wait for the community to see it. While we’ve been a part of the Golden Triangle for over 15 years now, this location will allow for us to fully serve the individuals, families, and businesses of Beaumont,” stated John Morrell, Regional Loan President. “We love providing personal, one-on-one service with the convenience of a full suite of financial products to support whatever you may need and easy-to-use digital tools for when you don’t have time to stop by or give us a call.”

The Beaumont team is led by Regional Loan President John Morrell, Banking Center Manager Michelle Bowen, and Regional Banking Center Manager Darla Barrow. Together they have over 60 years of experience banking the Golden Triangle.

“I would like to personally invite the citizens of Beaumont to visit our beautiful new location on Phelan Boulevard. John and his team have a wealth of knowledge, energy, and experience and are ready to serve you,” shared Chris Doyle, President and CEO of Texas First Bank. “As a true Texas community bank, we pride ourselves on making a difference in the financial lives of our customers, and we look forward to having the opportunity to prove that to you soon.”

Texas First Bank in Beaumont is open and serving customers as of Tuesday, Jan. 18. The banking center will host a Grand Opening celebration and ribbon cutting on Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
