JMB breaks ground on 130,000-square-foot warehouse in Hamshire

 

JMB Warehouse Hamshire LLC broke ground Thursday, Oct. 26, on a new 130,000-square-foot warehouse in Hamshire. The warehouse at 15110 Hamshire Road is owned by father and son John and Ricky Blackwell.

“JMB Warehouse Hamshire will provide storage services to the plants and the refineries in Beaumont and the Baytown area,” said Ricky Blackwell. We currently store for several companies, and we need more space. … We will be storing plastic goods and packaging components for Graham Packaging and several different companies.”

Golden Pass Products is well on its way to being one of the first in Texas to export LNG. The company received the green light from the U.S. Department of Energy in April to countries without free trade agreements with the U.S., removing the final, major federal regulatory hurdle for the $10 billion project. The LNG export terminal will be capable of producing up to 15.6 million metric tons of LNG per year, according to Golden Pass estimations. The Business Journal had the opportunity to interview ‎President at Golden Pass Products Sean Ryan to learn more about the operation.
