LSC-PA offers matching grant to benefit Seahawks athletics

Lamar State College-Port Arthur is the only two-year college in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana to offer opportunities for students to continue their athletic endeavors after high school.

The Port Arthur Higher Education Foundation wants to make sure that doesn’t change.

The Foundation announced a two-year, $100,000 matching grant to benefit the Seahawks Athletics Program, providing scholarship opportunities for current and future athletes as well as contributing to the department’s daily working budget.
