Search for new Beaumont Chamber president has begun

The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce announced Tuesday, April 24, the formation of a search committee for a new president and chief executive officer. The search committee will review candidate submissions and propose its recommendation to the Greater Beaumont Chamber Board of Directors. Resumes will be accepted until May 31.

The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce serves members and the community as a catalyst to promote the economic growth of Beaumont and the surrounding area. The president and chief executive officer is responsible for overseeing and implementing the strategic plan; advocating for local businesses in the community, with media and among local, state and federal government; increasing, maintaining and retaining Chamber membership; coordinating work programs, and supervising the staff and maintenance of the Chamber’s headquarters.

Successful candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree, and at least five years of professional work experience in Chambers of Commerce or other related entities. IOM certification preferred.
