MCM Eleganté parent company donates $1M to Red Cross for Harvey relief

Investment Corporation of America and its team members are donating $1 million to the American Red Cross to help with the relief efforts for those devastated in the Beaumont and South Texas areas by Hurricane Harvey.

The company announced the donation in a press release.

“The MCM Eleganté is committed to community presence,” said the hotel’s GM Steve McGaha. “We have been in Southeast Texas for 15 plus years, and it is important to us that everyone in Southeast Texas knows that through all of the good times and the not so good times, we are here for them.”

Investment Corporation of America is owned by John and Carol Bushman. ICA has businesses in several of the affected areas, including the MCM Eleganté Hotel in Beaumont, ICA Radio in Corpus Christi and A-1 Homes in Victoria and Splendora, Texas.

According to the Bushmans, “We are extremely concerned for our team members and their families in these areas. We are praying for them and all our Texas neighbors who are going through this devastating situation.”
