Beaumont Public Schools Foundation receives donation from BBVA Compass
Will Leonard, BBVA Compass city president, recently presented Sal Guerrero, president of the Beaumont Public Schools Foundation, Inc. (BPSF) a financial donation of $10,000. The BVAA Compass contribution will be used to fund the BPSF grants program. The BPSF awards educational classroom grants each semester to staff and students in the Beaumont Independent School District to enhance teaching and learning.
The BPSF is a non-profit organization that is composed of community leaders and education advocates whose interest focuses on excellence in education. Since 1993, the BPSF has awarded $236,424.88 in grant funds to 351 BISF staff and students in BISD. The BPSF accepts donations from individuals, family trusts and corporations.
